What is the biggest challenge and opportunity your organisation is facing right now?
The biggest challenge our organisation faces is managing the increasing complexity of offshore asset decommissioning, including the removal, reuse, recycling, and repurposing of materials while complying with evolving regulatory requirements. At the same time, this presents an opportunity to leverage new digital tools and data-driven approaches to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver safer, more effective decommissioning solutions for our clients.
What is your word of advice for fellow Chamber members?
When you feel overwhelmed or challenged, stepping back to understand the bigger picture can be really helpful. Pause and remind yourself why you’re doing what you’re doing. Draw on the knowledge and lessons you’ve learned from past experiences. You’ve likely handled hard things before, and those wins are proof that you’re capable of navigating challenges.
Leverage the depth of knowledge and expertise within your team and the people around you. You don’t have to figure everything out alone. Trust in the support you have and be open about what you’re finding difficult. Collaborate whenever possible to make decisions and find better solutions together.
