The 39th edition of the Chamber’s Energy Transition survey – sponsored by KPMG and ETZ – has been tracking trends in the UK energy sector for two decades.
In this election year, it is more important than ever that we have a reasoned debate about our energy future.
Political sound bites now need to make way for pragmatic policy - and this vital survey will allow the industry to outline exactly what it needs to see from our policy makers.
Our planning system is in urgent need of reform, our grid infrastructure requires enormous sums of investment to meet the needs of tomorrow, and we need a progressive tax regime which encourages energy firms to invest in the UKCS and in renewables.
All these issues, and many more, will be discussed at this Business Breakfast to mark the launch of the Energy Transition 39 report, the Chamber’s biannual barometer of sector business confidence, activity and future plans.
As well as the survey results, you’ll hear from a special guest speaker and a panel of industry experts will debate the findings and field questions from the audience.
